Flight-data agents, model routing and controlled tool execution.

Designed a NestJS/PostgreSQL/LangGraph flight-query agent over 60 million-plus detail records and approximately 160,000 pre-aggregated records, with filtering, analysis and dashboard views.
Built a shared LLM interface and query router for streaming, tool calls, retries, structured output and Zod validation; routed requests to RAG retrieval, examples and business tools.
Implemented tool authorization and approval for write operations with JWT/RBAC, Redis, BullMQ and an outbox workflow, including asynchronous execution, expiry and idempotency.

Built Python/Selenium/Pandas automation for data collection, rule filtering, database checks and Excel reports, shortening weekly manual review from over two hours to approximately 30 minutes.
Developed a Python/Flask HL7 validation engine for message structure, field formats and business rules; packaged it as a standalone desktop application and delivered it to the business team.
Built Power BI dashboards for RSV and tuberculosis monitoring, with case totals, trends, category distributions and scheduled refreshes.

My name is Dongping Guo (郭东平). I go by Donny.

I’m studying computer science at Duke. Before that, I did my undergrad at Cal State East Bay.

I’ve built flight-data agents at Ctrip and data tools for public-health teams. I also made CatDiary, a little app that writes diary entries from cat photos and reads them aloud.
