Multimodal AI / 2025

CatDiary

A React/Flask application that writes diary entries from pet photos, then reads them aloud.

A playful starting point

What might your cat be thinking? CatDiary writes a diary entry from a pet photo, then brings it to life with audio narration.

From image to experience

I built the React/Flask application and a Python REST backend that coordinates image uploads, vision analysis, diary generation and text-to-speech. Stytch magic links support passwordless sign-in.

The product connects several model capabilities into one approachable flow: upload a photo, read the diary, listen to its narration.

The outcome

The project received the “Best Use of AI to Solve a Problem No One Had” award at the Dumb Things AI Hackathon.
